Cotto/Martinez is miles ahead of any fight those 4+benitez have faced (not amongst themselves).

With respect, this era does not have a Tommy Hearns...with that said, you can only beat the highest ranked fighters out there, and Floyd has been doing that for about over 6 years now.

The last time he fought someone not ranked 1-3 in his division and/or 1-10 in the world was 2005.:good

Your whole reply is all over the place in terms of grammar and actual content!!!!

What do you mean whenyou typed "your looked at as a poster"?

Besides, do you actually believe ESB look at you like you impart any gem of knowledge instead of a teen-age, lovestruck *****? Start a poll asking how esb look at you and I assure you, 99 percent would say you are an idiot!

    Exactly.

And prior to 2005, he was doing plenty work.

I realize this guy and his threads arent particularly liked, but let's not pretend Floyd isnt a great fighter who can't still accomplish quite a lot with the time he has left.

Compare their resumes. Compare names. The other fighters fought the best at their best. Has Floyd?

Floyd has been choosing who he fights. Imagine all fighters did the same.. If the greats from before did that, they would be undefeated as well.

Sergio is no Hagler or Monzon. Pacquiao is no Duran. We are talking the best of the best when Hagler, Leonard, Duran, and Hearns are mentioned. Floyd has an argument for best at 130, above that ..
No. Just no. Shiiit Floyd would have serious problems with the last era's elite like Oscar, Shane, Forrest, Ike, Lopez, Winky, Fernando, Campas, and Tszyu win some lose some even more problems with the likes of Norris, Brown, Curry, Taylor, Whitaker, Vasquez, Jackson, Chavez, and McGirt? Resume wise of course Floyd has a better resume, but he didn't have to deal with any of those mofos in their primes he wouldn't be undefeated which he really isn't. Border line great resume, but comparing his resume or him h2h to a true ATG like Leonard like comparing a cubic zirconia to a 1 carat diamond. It looks real, but its fake.

He won't rank ahead of those even if he beats Maravilla at 160 and Pacquiao at 147. Lay off the crack. He would be ranked an ATG for sure, but not ahead of those.

Please, Floyd would DEMOLISH PRIME oscar, Prime Mosley, Prime Chavez, etc etc. The only reason the first match was "so close" was cuz Oscar forced May to wear heavyweight gloves. Oh please.

May beats those clowns anyday of the week.

Not really..check the rankings of the fighters he has fought and then look at some of the greats...Floyd fights top 3 in his division and/or top 10 in the world fighters.

Not sure how some of you miss this...Nice try though, but you were wrong. You'd be right if they weren't top 3 in his divison or top 10 in the world.

And your "speculation" means nothing really.

Good post but don't respect it.
