Oscar has a small or no ego. Did you see him get Alvarez autograph?

You sound very young. That's actually a sign of strength and humility. As a matter of fact, he probably said that because he is a very savvy business man and would make for great PR.

    Oscar a G. Oscar Little Floyd's idol.

Now you're just mentally masturbating. This was in his book. The majority of this boxing forum hasn't even touched it yet.

I thought DLH won that fight. Whitaker's defense was great and all, but his offense was almost non-existent. If you like showboating and boxer's clowning, yeah, Whitaker won. If you actually give the rounds to the fighter who's actually throwing and landing punches, DLH won.

And Whitaker>DLH. But DLH beat the 147 Lineal champion/#3 P4P fighter Pernell Whitaker.

Whatever the reason, whether he's a humble man or a business genius, Oscar is a better man for not celebrating that close decision he got over Sturm, (which Btw I had Oscar winning and layer re-scored it a draw) the way Tito, Mosley, Pacquiao and others celebrated when they got gift decisions.

An old over-the-hill Oscar beat Void, knocked his head back like a speed bag, but Void's judges gave him a split decision. I had Oscar will 7-5. Castillo also beat Void. Void is afraid of Alvarez, refused to fight Martinez at 150, refused to fight Paul Williams, refused to fight Trout, etc. Void will beat up a woman though........Void last fought a featherweight...........

the resume of who oscar fought ranks higher than 95% of the fighters who ever lived.he fought them all! but the fact he lost and didn't close the deal on some of them will stop him from being considered better.he won the 2nd mosley fight though.and still edged trinadad by a round in my book.

Floyd beats Oscar on longevity, because of his hit-and-not-get-hit philly shell, and Oscar was a real fighter.
'and more top wins' - beating the likes of Alexander, Garcia, Khan is not going to do ANYTHING for his resume at the ATG level but add some longevity points.

dlh fighting someone like bhop even at that age takes a lot of balls.

At 156lbs to be exact. Saying he fought him at middleweight is true but misleading.

Just because you have them winning doesn't make it a win. He **** the bed in the latter rounds against Tito and lost a close decision. End of story.

Second, since when did the second Mosley win become a great win? BTW, he LOST. And even if you think he won, let's cut out the revisionist history crap. Shane Mosley has never been a great fighter at 154. Ever. Furthermore, he was at the lowest point of his career when Oscar finally decided it was safe to give him a rematch. For one, Mosley hadn't won a fight in two years and hadn't beat a top level opponent in four. A great "win"? Let's cut the hyperbole.

I'll score the fight as I see it the same as every other fight. Just like any other fan would. He ran, but had the fight in the bag, and the judges screwed him. End of story.

Mosley was coming off of the only two defeats of his entire career at that point, both against the same man, who had his number. He was certainly on EPO, not much of a physically lesser specimen than he was at 147, and was the first man to give DLH his first loss. And he was far fresher and more capable than the man 15 months removed from beating Margarito. And again, most fans score that fight for Oscar. So any revisionism subtracted, and the win is still more solid than Floyd's win over Shane, which was itself impressive. It wasn't Shane at his best, but it was still Shane near his prime with an artificial advantage. Not an all time great win, but at least comparable with Floyd's very best.

Apparently he didn't. Further, like someone said on another thread, your personal feelings don't matter. He lost.

Not only do I disagree with this analysis...Oscar lost. In case you forgot.
