You know it alwqys amazes me, the total double standards on this board when it comes to Joe. For ages on thsi board people said that despite being THE MAN at LWW if Ricky Hatton wanted to be the THE MAN at WW then he would hav eto come to the U.S and challenge PBF who was THE MAN at that weight. I agree with this. you have to go and TAKE the title. Yet Joe gets slated for staying in UK, he was and is THE MAN and SMW and now he is THE MAN and LHW and yet still he should have fought more in the U.S. its total hypocracy. you want it , come get it, just like when Tonet did everyting to avoid coming to fight Benn and Eubank in their prime, (which I still have on VHS ) holarious excuses seeing as they held the belst at the time .
quite.its purely cosmetic the American thing. Why give a ****? Shakespeare is still shakespeare whether its performed on Broadway or not. (i know thats an odd analogy, but i liked for some reason )
American's find it incredibly hard to give credit to British fighters. They forget the wins.. Benn, Hamed, Lewis, Turpin, Buchanan...
