However, credit goes to Kovalev for accepting the fight with 50 yo BHOP.
Kovalev and Shumenov showed more fighter heart that some other low tier champions who saw BHOP as too big of a risk to fight.
IMHO, for both Shumenov and even more so for Kovalev, the risk paid off very good returns.
For those who ducked 50 yo BHOP, their careers are pretty much where they were when they ducked him 1-2 years ago.
