Yeah P got a gift. But that's what you get sometimes when you pour on relentless pressure against a guy who is trying to coast to victory.


Unlike Cotto, who was on his bike after Round 6 against Clottey and was still given the gift.

 

I voted based on the thread title. Confusing. In any event, Lara was robbed, obviously.

 

:huh Clottey infamously gave up the last two rounds of that fight by shelling up in the corner while Cotto wailed on him.

 

So the judges were suspended to appease who?

 

I'm a big Paul Williams fan, and yes, Lara got robbed pretty damn badly. :deal

 

That happened in the 5th or 6th Round. Clottey took everything Cotto had to offer and shook his head like "Nah, Ni99a..." From that point on, Cotto was on his bike, doing what he does best (aside from nutpunching): Run from pressure.


Watch the fight again.

 

It's a losing battle trying to tell people the judges reward people that come to fight because professional boxing relies on sales. This trend is obvious and should be KNOWN by all pro boxers at this point and fighters that are willing to leave it in the judges hands during the fight should not be upset AFTER the fight if it doesn't go their way.
