Robert Easter Jr vs Mikey Garcia
    Gervonta Davis vs Vasyl Lomachenko
    Saul Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin

If any of these 3 survived to hear the final bell, it would be more a victory than not testing yourself.

Like Hopkins surviving Kovalev, Bernard didn't have to take that fight but he was a champion.

Yeah. Definitely one of the better examples of a moral victory in recent times. Fonfara going the distance and knocking down Stevenson is another example, despite the loss it definitely raised his stock.

Joe Smith jr. being fairly competitive with Ward/Kovalev would probably stop the thinking that he's an overachiever.

Does anybody else but me think Kovalev didn't give it his all out of respect for Bernard?

This reminds me of Malik Scott and Luis Ortiz... so sometimes it could be a pretty ugly scene.

Safetypin Johnson vs Vitali. He even celebrated after the shutout.

Mundine vs green 2. Gave up ridiculous amount of weight and got robbed, everyone knew he won except the 3 judges

De la hoya vs Floyd. Now this was a SD win for Floyd. In fact, of the 2 judges that had it for Floyd, one of those had Floyd edging Oscar by ONE ROUND. So he give one more round to Oscar, that fight was a draw, 2 more rounds to Oscar, Oscar wins. It was that close. But the point is, considering oscar was 7 years past his prime, and over-the-hill, that fight was really a win for him all things considered. (remember, this the fight Freddie Roach said Oscar couldn't pull the trigger anymore In) add that Oscar lost his pop, speed had diminished quite a bit, and stamina had decreased, and really had to rely on his own ring IQ and box Floyd at his own game, it was a definite win for Oscar.

How was Floyds performance rated at the time? Was he expected to beat Oscar ?

    Erik Morales vs Maidana.

Past his prime and considered shot, I remember people were actually scared for Morales' health before the fight and he proceeds to almost pull off a huge upset against a prime Maidana.
