I would not go that far. I liked Paulie before but his true colors have come out with those comments about Pac that are unfounded. To discredit someone like that when you do what he does is just scummy. I was rooting for Paulie before but now I hope Diaz wipes the floor with that bum.

Anyways I agree with the threadstarter, they'll be fighting on the same day. I personally think Mont might give Bradley all he can handle, but I'd like to see the winner of those 2 fights fight for the 140 WBO championship.

first of all Paulie didn't say Manny was on steroids, he said he felt something was fishy about him maintaining power and speed through the weight classes, never directly stated Manny was on roids. I think you all are mistaking his comments with those of Kermit Cintron

Implying it is the same as saying it without being a man about it. It takes a man to say what he means or keep his mouth shut. Why not just strive for the same type of greatness instead of trying to hate what is already great. There is a difference in what constitutes a winner in doing **** you need to do and talking **** about **** others have done.. The guy is a whiner not a winner.

    What the hell?

Why is it that you *******s feel that people aren't entitled to their own opinions and that people who criticize the fighter you worship should die?

    Please go away.

To me it is not about criticizing a man with an opinion but criticizing the man's character in regards to that opinion. Paulie should concentrate on his own career instead of implying **** about a fellow fighter who makes a living just like he does. If his first reaction to greatness is pessimistic, then he will never be as great. People like that irk me. Specially when I was a fan of his. It leads me to believe that Paulie does not believe he can achieve great things in his career because his vision is limited as to what someone can accomplish. He has lost me as a fan. Never a fan of Cintrons but you know that these people will never be great ever. They are on a completely different level of human being as Pacquiao. Pacquiao is the type of person who believes nothing is impossible, hence he achieves the impossible.

:happy While my words are harsh and I dont literally mean them, Paulie is now garbage in my opinion. He had/has great boxing skills, but hes lost my complete respect for him as a fighter. He has no business making those implications about another fighter without any evidence, truly classless. It just speaks volumes about him and his insecurities as a professional boxer. As I said once before, Paulie is now only worthy to be in the ring with other boxers as a makeshift stool on his hands and knees for them. He shouldnt find this too difficult, as Im sure hes used to being on his knees quite a bit.

That's insanely ironic. Your comments are 1000X more tasteless. You probably are a sad sack of **** that's unhappy with yourself if one fighter's opinion on another makes you this upset. To say something like this... real ****ed up.

Actually theyre not and heres why: its for a few posters to hear. Its not going to go across the sports media wire as a comment or allegation against him. However, Paulies implications are picked up within the profession and can have a slanderous impact on Pac. All the while, they have absolutely no basis. I would rather have someone tell me to die because Im such a great fighter and they could never compete against me, then for them to imply that I cheated to get where I am. RIP Paulie: the few hardcore fans you had, are jumping ship due to your baseless allegations/implications.

What's funny is your complete presumption on Paulie's mindset (Which relates to his character) of having a limited vision, being pessimistic, and not dreaming big. Funny coming from a keyboard warrior. You won't amount to half of what Paulie has, I guess his vision or lack of one didn't affect his dream? And lack of vision, the guy was big time confident against Cotto. Your lack of level-headedness is hilarious. Pac is a freak of nature, it's not his "believing nothing is impossible" that helps him achieve the impossible. As of most fighters don't believe in themselves and what they can achieve (When others don't). Paulie doesn't need unloyal bandwagoning fans anyway.

So, it's the accessibility of a comment that determines its hypocritical nature? That makes sense. It's hypocritical, it's ironic, and you're a douchebag for even saying it.

It's an implication, I suppose. But people have suggested the same thing here without saying that. Pac defies logic. For Pac-fans, and boxing fans in general they should take the comment the way others respond to comments about how Pac doesn't apply to the laws of the universe. Obviously Pac was sensational, we all agree with that. Should Paulie have implied what he did? No, is he even saying he believes that? No, but he's implying that Pac is doing amazing things. Now, why can't people take the positive out of that? I don't like that Paulie made the comments because it puts his viewpoint out their unneccessarily. That's something you keep to yourself. He could've just said Pac-man is just unbelievable. In fact, that's what he is saying. Just not in the best manner.
