Paulie would never have a bandwagoning type fan, hes never been good enough for that. Yes, true that I will never be a world champ in boxing as Paulie once was, and will never be again. However, Paulie will never graduate Magna Cum Laude from a prestigous University and have the profession that I will have for the rest of my life, where I can work and talk about pieces of **** like him at the same time.

Yes I was that guy. I hate Paulie and what he did follows suit with why I had such a strong opinion of dislike for him. If I told you my profession you would **** your pants after the comments I have made (but this is the internet, you can say stuff like that). Besides, I could make up anything so it really doesnt matter. My point was that I have equally achieved greater then typical success in my post secondary education and in our society, so Im in no way jealous of Paulies 15 minutes as a champion. Just a casual boxing fan that attends some matches occassionally and has the ability to read/comment on boxing while at practice in my profession. Have a great weekend, maybe we shall blog again on another topic sometime.

Sure, and the point of my comments is your assumption that because Paulie may have taken a negative belief on another fighter makes him a limited man with zero imagination. It's senseless and irrational thinking. Paulie is a solid fighter and has done a lot with what he has. He has little to no punching power, and not the most crowd-pleasing style and he has already been a champion and he went all out in a tough fight with Cotto. He had a broken orbital bone (I believe) in his jaw and went the distance and gave Cotto a tough fight. Limited vision, little heart? Pac-man on the other hand has natural gifts. Unbelievable athletic ability coupled with great punching power and an excellent trainer and team around. Obviously Pac worked hard.

But if you want to live in fairy world that doesn't deal with genetics and natural gifts which assumes all people are the same and if you can dream and work hard you automatically make it then fine... don't factor in the obvious factors.

And you're wrong. Paulie has already become great for what he has done. And he's going to continue to do everything he can to be a better fighter and have a successful career.

My "troll threads" are for entertainment purposes only. Half that stuff I dont even mean. Its quite entertaining to elicit certain types of responses from people, and it certainly makes the day pass by much quicker when things are going slow.

 

I believe Paulie has everything Manny has. The chin, the speed, the boxing ability, the heart and has all the tools he needs to be a great fighter. The one thing that Paulie needs is to look at a fighter like Pacman and tell himself, " if that guy did it so can I"', and stop making excuses for why he can't. Implying that Manny is on roids is, imo, an excuse.

 

After Paulie beats Diaz, I would like to see him in against Judah. They're both at a similar point in their careers and would be a big draw in NYC providing the proper build up. It's interesting because both guys posses great skill but have one thing that holds them back, Paulie with his brittle hands and Zab with no heart. Also interesting because they excel at what the other doesn't have, Paulie has great heart and Zab has great punching power.

Basically Paulie can never be an elite simply because of his hands, the odds that he breaks one during a fight, maybe even early, are pretty high. So DiBella should simply be pitting him up against whoever he can make the most money off of quickly, that being Zab.

 

This is a case of people blowing things WAY out of proportion. Paulie didn't even say he was on Roids. I will say the same thing, there is something fishy about it. Its ****in scary! thats what it is.

He might actually make for a good opponent for Pac if he indeed elects to take a warm up fight before Mayweather. Malignaggi like Floyd is fast handed and slick. He also has had much to say about Pac and his criticisms would certainly intensify during the pre-fight buildup.
