If Margarito does win those bouts who gives a **** Shane Mosley is still the better fighter and deserves the Mayweather fight.

Its all a matter of opinion. Though I must say the right man won that night.....or should I say the tougher more durable fighter was able to get the win. There's no knock to either fighter as they both showed why they are top talents in there particular fields. Margo vs Clottey is one of those rare match ups where if both men fought ten times each man would possess at least five wins each.

Fighters sometimes go into fights with injuries, or get injured in the course of a fight. Its all part of the business. Margo went into the fight with a badly sprained ankle and didnt ***** once about it. As soon as Clottey hurt his hand, he acted as if he were dying. That was the deciding factor of why Margarito took control of the fight in the middle rounds and ultimately won the fight.

I am not saying he is the most gifted fighter, we all know that he isnt. What he is, is a tough SOB, who will be a tough fight for anyone in the WW division, including Cotto and PBF.

 

I think Margorito vs. Cotto will be exciting but Cotto is the better fighter and will definately win. Margorito's chances for a fight with floyd are slim to none.

His only chance before was to hold two belts and have 10+ title defenses, but then he lost to williams so that all went caput.

 

My thoughts exactly. That's what has carried Margarito where he is today. he's a hard work, maybe not the most gifted, but he comes at you with all he's got regardless. The Clottey "bad hand" excuse is a poor one. he may have hurt his hand, but the guy acted handicapped. There have been guys out there who have hurt their hand in a bout and still win, because they find a way to overcome that obstacle. Thats the difference between a Clottey and a Margarito or a Cintron and Margarito; when going gets tough, Margo stays in there and takes the heat.

 

Who gives a ****? Margo is a nobody. Who has he beaten to deserve a fight with PBF.

 

The fight between Margarito didn't happen because Arum would not agree to let Floyd fight Cotto and Hatton should he beat Margarito ..

Margarito can definitely beat Cintron again . . . I'll say that's 70/30 for Marg. Marg/Cotto . . . I'll say 60/40 for Cotto . . . but an upset is not impossible. :yep

Wait till he beats Cotto, which of course is no guarantee. But it that does happen, there really will be no reason for Floyd to NOT face Margarito. Lets the fights happen before you start talking ****, because all you'll do is make more people (irrationally) hate Margarito more then they already do.
