When Margo fight's Williams

Personally I'd love to see a rematch, but if I were AM I would stay far away. Cotto pays more and is very winnable.

 

That's what they're doing, just hope a rematch is in plan after it.

 

I truly believe the DLH backed out of that fight with some chicken-hearted bull****. But that's beside the point. Williams may or may not have wanted to fight Margo immediately, for whatever reasons...

But no one can deny he would fight him now.

And you can have you opinion about what would happen, but I'll take Williams in a wider UD.

 

That's what is going to happen and Arum knows it. There's a reason Arum didn't want the first fight and that's because he was saving Margarito for a fight with Cotto as planned then the Williams fight happened and he lost. Cintron was ready to be feasted one to make Margarito look good going in against Cotto who also had Gomez to feast on.

The rest is history and them avoiding a rematch with Williams now is obvious.

 

I said maybe. No one knows for sure what really happened. It deends on who you're a fan of who you want to belive. BUT there ain't NO QUESTION about the offer that Williams placed to Margo... in public calling him out and offering him $4M.

And the excuses get lamer and lamer. And you know it.

 

Don't bet on them fighting and I'm not saying this out of hate but it's very clear. Telling Williams to wait for 1 year is like waiting for him to move up and stay up then claim he "ran" which idiots will swallow.

It will only happen if Margarito loses and goes back to unknown mode.

 

Exactly, if Margarito was afraid of Williams he would have vacated his belt and fought Cotto. He fought Williams instead which shows he aint afraid of no one. Also who ever is calling him a ***** should be shot. He is the opposite especially the way he fights.

 

That's true about fighting Williams the first time, but after the loss they won't go anywhere near him, especially when he NEEDED big fights like that back then, right now he already boosted high enough to secure that he's a big name and looking to make money out of it. Back when he fought Williams he was still looking to seek that position and accepted the fight regardless.

The way he fights is a style in boxing, there are many other styles out there, it doesn't represent anything, it represents what the man can do physically.

 

That's as dumb as saying Quintana had Williams' number right after their first fight or Rahman having Lewis' number.

SO far Margarito has accomplished a lot more to convince plenty that he is the better WW.

AM/PW needs to happen but until then Williams has a win over Margo but AM is the better welter!

 

So you are saying Margarito will never fight Williams? Also they way Margarito fights is that macho thing a lot Latin fighters do. A lot of people(including myself)see that as being a bad ass not giving a damn about getting hit and always willing to goe toe to toe with anyone.

 

Looking at how things are going right now it's very possible. Margarito already had two fights this year and is settled with them, you think he will have three next year one with a tune-up, then a big fight against Cotto and another FAR more dangerous against Williams?, I doubt it.

Which is why you don't see enough Gold Medals coming to Mexico. Also, I repeat again, it's a style in boxing, it wasn't invented by the "Latin" fighters you are obsessed with, it's a specific style that part of the world appreciates and enjoys. There are many different styles in boxing and all suit the person's ability, otherwise if it was just an "option" you would see everyone being Sugar Ray Robinson with championship achievements in multi-divisions, it all depends on the person's physical ability and how far he can go with it, as are all other styles in boxing. If it was easy to be something else as I said everyone would be Pernell Whitaker or even Sugar Ray Robinson, why wouldn't they?, they will make a lot of money winning and get a lot of credit retiring.

 

The same thing that would happen if Williams wins the rematch. Most people will give due credit but a few disrespectful nuthuggers from the losing side will continue to play the win down and discredit the winner.
