You added a post of mine in there where I said that it's a possibility, yes I do think it's possible but under different circumstances as mentioned above. With the way things are looking now it's not a possibility, however it may change, we never know and the only thing we can do is discussed based on what the fighters say or what we see.

 

Well the more I think about it you may be right. Like you said all we can do is have discussions on what the fighters say or what we see. We seen Williams go to middleweight and we have heard Margarito in talks about a Cotto rematch. Shows me one Williams might have trouble making weight since he had to go up two weight classes for a fight. Two, Margarito has his plans for the next year like you said so it might not happen. That sucks though, I wanted to see a rematch.

 

We all want to but we'll see what happens, there's always hope. Though I really don't think Williams can't make the weight, he said he could and asked for a fight with Margarito and if he has issues with weight he won't call out Margarito out who already proved to be a tough but winnable fight.

williams beard is world class and statistics show he threw over 1200 punches against margarito, he was relatively green then and now has more experience and according to the majority vote on esb that margarito has slowly but surely declined in terms of speed etc, I can't see Margarito doing any better

 

also williams starte calling margarito out about 6 or 7 fights before he actually fought him, larry merchant asked him what his plans were, he said he's goin after margarito because he's the most feared man and if margarito didnt wanna fight him he would do everything he could to become his mandatory and then win, he said that then and backed it up in the ring, Margarito is not stronger than Paul Williams and even if he is it musn't be significant because not once did I see him bully or force him backwards in the fight, I seen Margarito get close alot of times and get ready to throw an uppercut before paul williams throws about 100000jabs and pushes him away with what seemed to be relative ease

 

i expect margarito to beat williams in the rematch,cant see there bein a rubber match pw will move up instead.
