When Floyd Mayweather Jr returns to have some fun with the current crop of welterweights, will he move up yet another weight ? i see him taking apart every fighter in his weight, inc Margo and Cotto !! His legacy is some what cemented but i feel floyd wants something spectacular .

If he does dismantle every foe he has and is still at the peak of his powers, were can he apply his skill ? move up a weight or retire and waste good boxing .

Mayweather Jr isn't coming back to fight Margarito or Williams, the two best 147 fighters in the world, he's coming back to rematch either Hatton or Hoya. If and when he takes those fights, that's when I lose all respect for the guy. If he plans on avoiding the best Welterweights like he did before he retired, I would give some friendly advice and tell him to stay retired.

I don't see Mayweather being effective above Welterweight, personally.

He'll probably fight Pacquiao if Pacquiao upsets DLH. Team Pacquiao will have a choice between PBF and Hatton.

I don't care much to see PBF beat up Pacquiao, but I'd much rather see that than see rematches with DLH and especially Hatton.

140 is a wasteland, so PBF will stay at 147, or whatever catchweights the fights with the above are scheduled.

Well, he already fought at 154, so that wouldn't be anything new. And honestly, even with size being a factor, he'd probably whip everyone in the 154 division.

How do you think he would go against Forrest? Hes a better fight at this point but Forrest is a big guy, around 6 ft flat

Looking at the rankings, Forrest may actually be the only 154lb that could cause Mayweather problems. I take back what I said about Mayweather not being effective at 154, because it's an extremely weak division. There are no great Junior Middleweights around today.

Pac vs floyd will be an interesting match. Floyd will face an unconventional but quick and strong fighter in Pacquiao

Just not what he used to be. Forrest is like Mosley. Mayweather would tire him out & take advantage of him in the end.

 Pac was consistently outboxed by JMM. It would be the same by Floyd, except Floyd would be the one doing the dropping not Pacman.

Comparing Forrest and Mosley as opponents is difficult. Forrest was just to big for Mosley, so I think it's possibly he's to big for Mayweather Jr.

In his last fight against Mora, Forrest showed great handspeed and hurt Mora on a couple of occasions. A big man like Forrest with quick hands can cause Mayweather problems, so I'm really not sure what would happen. Mayweather would be the favourite, mainly due to how far Forrest has come in his career, but it'd be a lot more interesting than Hatton vs Mayweather 2.

I'm talking about what is more likely to happen, not talking about the fights I want to see.

    I've wanted PBF-Cotto since PBF's 140 days.
