    There is no way, no how Morales will beat JMM at this juncture of their respective careers.

    IF Morales beats Marquez, forget about records, he will solidify himself as the greatest Mexican of his generation and possible the greatest Mexican ever IMO.

    IF he beats Marquez, it should be viewed as a big upset, and he should be considered the greatest Mexican of his era. JCC is the greatest Mexican of all time. I believe 100% that he would have stopped a prime Morales at '30, '35, '40. I have no doubt in my mind.

    Possibly, but Marquez still looks good and has knocked out all of his opponents at lightweight. I won't be one of them. The fight being at 140 was Marquez's choosing, so he will have to live with the consequences should it not best suit him against Morales, and I certainly won't be holding it against Morales.

    Well super bantam and feather were his best weights. However he did beat Pacman at 130, which will end up as one of the greatest wins in history with what Pac has been able to go on and do.

    Excellent win but I would be careful with the praise. From the David Diaz fight onward Pacquiao is a significantly more complete fighter than when he faced Morales. More footmovement, better right hand and generally more versatile. Would Pacquiao beat Cotto and Margo fighting with his old style? Debatable. Don't get me wrong he beat a excellent Pacquiao just not the version he would go on to be.

    Good point. That Pac did crush a prime Barrera from pillar to post though. He has improved definately, he was better in the Morales rematch too. But he was still as much of a monster down at those weights as he is now, that hasn't changed. And Morales is still the last guy to beat him and if Pac does go undefeated until he retires that will be massive for Morales' legacy.

    I will definitly be rooting for morales at this point he is considered very shot so he has nothing to lose.

    no they won't have the same record, because by the time morales beats him, marquez would've won the first 9 matches.
