He should stay number one because it is a mismatch.

That's actually a good question. Even though this fight is a disgrace and on paper Pac has no chance....I wonder if he loses if he'll lose his P4P ranking. It probably depends on the way he loses and how badly. If he somehow wins, will give people all the more reason to consider him P4P#1 IMO....but just don't see it happening.

He might stay or if he doesn't I'm sure it will go to Joe Calzaghe.

Yeah unless he gets KO'd within the first six rounds, he should keep his spot.

Let's see what happens in the fights between JC vs RJJ and Pavlik vs B-Hop. But I almost agree with Mexican Legend. He should probably stay there because it's a missmatch unless.... I don't know... What about if PAvlik KO's B-Hop???

MISMATCH. He will keep his spot regardless imo.

If Pavlik KO's Hopkins I'd move him into my top 3 but not above Pac even if Manny gets owned.

JCC beating RJJ is expected...so unless it's some sort of brutal crushing murderous victory, he'll probably stay at #2.

The more interesting fight is JMM-Casa, as a successful win over Joel Casamayor at 135 coupled with a Manny loss could fuel flames for another battle.

No, that would just give other fighters reasons to take meaningless fights. There has to be risk involved and if Pac chased this fight then he should face the consequences. He's putting it all on the line to fight a guy without a title. That sums it up.

Joe C will take it no doubt if he beats RJJ convincingly and does not retire, but in response to Gandul, If KP knocks out BHOP he should climb a spot or two

It would be hard to justify leaving him as the #1 P4P if he gets KO'd in round 1, mismatch or not.
