If you're willing to leave him at #1 if he gets KO'd brutally in round 1 than that's up to you really. I sure as hell wouldn't though....thus why all P4P lists are subjective.
Great post! I agree Pac have to face consequences! Any way if ODLH wins I don't think it will improve his P4P standings!
He didnt have to take the fight though. And will be KO'd and Drop in the ring and on the p4p list. I dont want to move him but i cant keep him there because he lost. Tough decision but has to be done
There is risk the risk of being laid out by a much bigger guy if pac pulls this off from starting at 106 he is the best pound for pound without a doubt but I dont doubt it much now.
It must be Pacquiao. This fight changes nothing. If Joe Calzaghe took the risk and fought David Haye and lost, it shouldn't change his standing at his own weight and therefore p4p. If Juan Manuel Marquez took the risk and fought Antonio Margarito and lost, it shouldn't change his standing at his own weight and therefore p4p, etc...
Agree to disagree. This is a money fight and thats it. Look at the size difference. Stupid **** if you ask me. Pacquiao should still be #1 if you ask me.
If he gets knocked out in round 1 then you can't honestly say "Well Pac is still #1" especially if Joe Calzaghe, JMM and Kelly Pavlik are all impressive. This is another reason why this fight is massive bull****.
Sort of agree with you on the principle, but if Calzaghe had been knocked out moving up to LH against Hopkins, wouldn't he have slipped in the P4P rankings? I know it's not the same massive leap in weight, but where does the line get drawn?
