FOr each man a win in this fight would elevate both their status and media relevancy to have a fight vs. Pavlik (if he is also coming back impressive in his next fight) a big PPV in the States. Wiliams would have proven that he's a real threat to Pavlik, wins a belt too and Abraham would gain alot of momentum beating maybe a p4p guy/former 147 and 154 champion. So do you think this is another possibility HBO is fetching for to make another big unifier for 2009?

Paul Williams SHOULD beat Verno Phillips, Nobody would say anything. Verno lost to Cory Stinks for christs sake. As per the topic, Paul Williams vs Arthur Abraham would be a great fight..but I don't imagine Abraham being the target for Williams. I think they'd approach Sturm first before Abraham.
I bet we're gonna get it...HBO will push for it after this weekend's fight and also Abraham vs. Sturm being out of contention!
