When people criticize the Klitschkos for being a tag team

I don't understand how this is a criticism but it starts off 2 points.

    1. The brothers refuse to fight each other
    2. The brothers do not face opponents that the other brother beat

The first one is really self explanatory. Besides just being brothers, they can't fight because Vitali is also involved in politics. It would destroy any credibility or reputation they have by not only fighting as brothers but also to do it off the basis of money. Their mother has also publicly stated that she is against a fight and so if they fought it'd be a reputation disaster. Although it seems simple to just realize they are brothers, there are simply more reasons then that.

The second one is also extremely easy. Boxing, like everything else in the world, is a business. The fact is that Wladimir and Vitali literally have the same exact fanbase. People may prefer one to the other but the people that watch them on TV or go to arenas are completely identical. How does it make any financial sense to book a Klitschko brother to face an opponent that the other one beat? The fight would be extremely difficult to sell. The other thing is that although both fighters have different styles and talents they both reside in the same class of talent. If you use the post-Steward Wlad anyone who Vitali beats Wlad can beat and this applies vice versa. So not only do you have something that fans don't want to see again, but you have an obvious outcome too.

The Klitschkos don't deserve criticism for being a "tag team". They are simply a product of dominating the division and making business decisions in their best interest just like every other top fighter in other divisions such as Mayweather would do.

the tag team is from Byrd beating Vitali and Wlad beating Byrd and Sanders beating Wlad and Vitali beating him

I dont think they strategically tag team opponents but for Byrd and Sanders fighting and trying to beat the other brother made the most sense career wise

Plus Wlad handled his own revenge on Brewster plus is think he tried getting a rematch with Sanders but im not too sure

No issues with them not fighting each other. I have issues with people pretending they're one person. Or that "Oh, this brother already beat him so that means he doesn't deserve a shot against the other." They are two different people with way different legacies.

Wlad avoided Briggs. Vitali fought him.........Wlad ducked Chisora twice and had big bro fight him instead.

He beat the guy that dominated Briggs didnt he?

Wlad didnt fight Chisora because the Haye fight came back into reality and he didnt wanna miss a chance because Haye was so hard to get in the ring

from a business and legacy sense Haye>Chisora

I dont think Wlads losing sleep over it

Manny kept him away from Briggs when they were both champs...........Wlad pulled out two days before the Chisora and rescheduled it for 7 months later..

if i remember properly they pulled out when Haye decided to start calling Wlad out again

after cancelling vs Chisora the Haye fight finally got made if thats how it went down, thats at least what i remember

and to be honest boxing needed Haye vs Wlad more

as far as Briggs goes thats a lot of nitpicking i dont see too many ppl giving Wlad **** for that anymore

if Vitali fought Briggs while Briggs was WBO champ and not yrs later to finally shut him up then that would be a tag team

They DO tag team and I think that it is BS. They choose which brother would be stylistically better for which opponent, they both feel like they sort of own heavyweight boxing and they make these crazy contracts up.
It's not fair that if you beat one brother, you HAVE to fight the other. That is the unfair advantages they have over all other heavyweight champions. The Klitschko's want to make it impossible for anyone to take the belts from them. If you beat one,you have to fight the other? How can you make a contract that says you have to fight someone else? They think they are the same fighter!

Your memory is incorrect. Wlad pulled out two days before the fight in 2010 and rescheduled for early 2011. Wlad fought Haye july 2011.....Wlad was advised my his trainer not to fight Chisora because he cant handle pressure fighters.
