When people talk resumes, how come Chisora isnt given more of a mention? Look at the names Chisora has fought and when undefeated Tyson Fury twice Vitali Klitschko David Haye undefeated Robert Helenius undefeated Malik Scott Kevin Johnson Danny Williams undefeated Sam ***ton fought twice Edmund Gerber Had agreed to face Wladimir Klitschko Credit where its due.
Let's be honest here, if Wilder had taken on the same level of opposition Del Boy had then he'd have a much inferior record. Sexton was no push over either when Chisora faced and beat him twice
Now that Francis has dumped him, Chisora will suffer a gatekeeping beat-down against Joshua or Whyte and that'll be it. Done.
He agreed to fight a lot of them and lost most. Kevin Johnson and Malik Scott are just above journeyman level.
He agreed to fight all of them and I think that some felt he was unfortunate against Helenius. If you feel those names mentioned are just above journeyman level and Chisora beat them, do you feel he is above that level again? Consider Malik Scott is the #2 American HW on Boxrec Many feel Froch has a good resume for facing Ward but he lost that fight and lost to Kessler
He's a gatekeeper fighter that poses a threat to young up and coming prospects like AJ and JP and makes for good domestic level fights against Price and Dillan Whyte. To me he's like the UK version of Stiverne and Arreola.
His best wins are over Malik Scott and a couple of old Brit-level-heavyweights. To his credit, he won all 12 rounds against Helenius, won a solid 3 or 4 off of Vitali, and certainly has no fear of fighting quality opponents.
When people talk resumes, how come Travis Walker/Jason Gavern/Nicolai Firtha/etc. aren't given more of a mention?
