Grats on posting that? I'd post the longer version which shows all of Manny's highlights but I'm not a simpleton like you. Why did you bring up RJJ?

The only fights Pacquiao is after are the easy fights. Why do you think it's taking him so long to chose between Bradley and Marquez rematches? He knows he's in a tough fight either way.

Jones did what he had to do to win, and thats use his physical god given talents to Blitz Griffin and not give him a chance to jump into the fight.

What I'm saying is that if I were a Roy Jones fan, I would have liked to have seen him outbox the fighter that thoroughly outboxed him, before laying the hammer down!

I'm saying that Jones was'nt good enough skillwise to let Griffin into the fight boxistically, so absolutely the avenue for him was to blitz Griffin as he did!

Btw, that same attitude that Jones carried into the Griffin rematch, he carried into the Tarver rematch, and Tarver cool as a cucumber, sparked him!
Jones skill in the first Tarver match was'nt good enough and Jones knew that. He tried to do the same to Tarver and approach Tarver with the attitude he did the Griffin rematch.
The difference is that Tarver layed low and did'nt panic. Tarver waited for his shot and sparked Jones into shot valley! :deal

Jones wasn't good enough to box Griffin, so he decided to KTFO of him.:huh
    Get outta here!

And as a Jones fan I can say, I would have rather seen the 1st round destruction, over a decision.

Er, have you actually seen the first Jones-Griffin fight? :think

Coz it sure as hell doesn't sound like it tbh.

You make it sound like Roy was getting owned and then turned it all around with a Hail Mary, Castro vs Jackson style.

Are you one of those people who pretends Toney was getting shut out by Nunn before Hail Marying him as well then?!

Griffin won a few rounds without ever coming close to dominating or hurting Jones, and was ahead at the halfway stage, but as the fight went on Jones had got his **** together, worked Griffin out, and turned the fight in his favour.

Do you not realize that Jones was up on two cards and trailing by only one point on other?

To anyone with a brain and eyes, Jones was on the brink of a decisive KO victory when the DQ incident occurred, to pretend otherwise is fantasy. The DQ was the best thing that ever happened to Griffin, because without it he'd have got ****ed up badly, and his fight with Jones would've been remembered much like Mayweather vs Jesus Chavez, where a tough and determined opponent gave a champion some tricky moments early, but then got outclassed, beaten up, and stopped.

:deal I suggest a re-viewing is in order sir.

Anyone who doesn't have Pacquiao a clear winner in that fight is a ******. End of discussion.

Jones today is looked upon by most as a fighter who's skill level was'nt good enough to keep him at the higher echelon once his unbelievable reflexes started to come down a few notches.

He's looked upon as a fighter who's sole reason for being on top was his superhuman physical attributes, which is why I'm saying it would have been nice to see his boxing skills on display against a good boxer who had allready outboxed him, before he dispatched him.

Griffin is'nt even an upper echelon type of skill boxer, but he's one who did outbox Jones, and what I'm saying is that I would have liked to have seen Jones attempt to use his skills to show boxing superiority before he turned Griffins lights out!

Jones beat Griffin the only way he could at that point in his career, he blitzed him. Imo he was going to have his hands full with Griffin if he attempted to box Griffin.

Let me ask you this, is Jones a better boxer than Griffin?

All I'm saying is that if you think so, that was'nt proven in either fight!

It supports my contention that Jones was never really a great skill fighter.

I think it would be cool to see a focused, revenge minded Manny. He's been portrayed as the nice guy to Mayweather's villain for so long, that he could almost re-brand himself as a new kick ass Manny.

I believe that it's better to compare Manny Pacquiao's situation right now as similar to Bernard Hopkins first fight with Jean Pascal.

Bernard thought he doesn't deserved the draw in the first fight with Pascal, and when on to rematch Jean Pascal when he was 46 years of age.The comparison was quite similar with Pacquiao right now,an aging warrior who thought he doesn't deserved his latest decision. What's next for him?

Simple-Bradley is a RISK.. Never have I seen a fighter duck a so called BUM for his title back.....Manny fans are in denial, and the win was an exaggerated one at that... Manny needs to handle his business but only cares about a paycheck it seem, but that might not even be accurate because he took 25 million instead of 40..

At the end of the day he would make HISTORY by getting his belt back and taking away Bradley's 0,but fans like to use the PPV excuse.... It wont sell, you would think his fans would want to see him floor Pac right,no they want to see him fight Juan, because they know he can get another gift decision.

To be fair people keep saying Bradley was unhealthy(which he wasnt). I would like to see a focused pac, Not watching nba games, and praying 8 hours a day. He needs to get his little ass back into killer mode. He looks bored. Im not excusing him either

Sure he was healthy, but immobile,a fractured foot fighting a guy like Pac is not exactly an easy task, and a huge advantage to Pac..

It's not that he is bored,he is just out of gas and does not have the same stamina he used to..
