If the out of shape Lennox that showed up against Vitali showed up against Roy, that would have been interesting for a few rounds I think, but Lennox would have eventually hit him with something.

Roy would have a chance against Lennox. He was a freak and could potshot and get out before lennoz reacts

If Jones fought the absolute perfect, flawless fight he could have won a decision over Lewis. Now in reality the chance of that happen is so remote it ridiculous but there's always a chance.

Roy's chin was good up until he boiled back to LHW, he carried great speed and his power at HW was certainly respectable. He'd struggle with Lewis' reach, power and height but something i think people here are missing is that Lewis could well struggle with Roy's speed, movement and evasiveness.

Even Ruiz hit Jones with a hard right in the first round, you are talking a 10 inch reach advantage for Lewis 50 lbs of weight, 6 inches of height.

Lewis was also very good at using his reach and height on fighters, and had great skills as well... I see little chance of Roy being able to potshot all night without getting hit big by something, or get trapped on the ropes. If he went to the ropes once against Lewis he would have been lucky to get off.

People need to remember also that Roy was not completely prime when he fought Ruiz, he was still great, but not peak by no means.

I understand Lennoz is skilled big man with a huge size advantage BUT the speed advantage for Roy is just as big. Roy could get in this groove and make it very hard for lennox to catch him. Lennox lines you up and Roy would see that **** coming. Very hard fight for lewis IMO

Lennox would have KOed Roy with a Jab.

Jones could have unified with Byrd that would have been a better fight then going back to Light Heavyweight getting embarrassingly and brutally KOed twice like he did.

no way, how would Roy score against Lewis? Lewis would just paw at him all night long and keep him away, Lewis clinching would make RJJ's knees buckle.

Lewis would jab and hold and then KO RJJ.

If RJJ could have done sometime more at HW he would have stayed there, as it was he went in and won a belt but he did not exactly beat a great champion - he beat a medicore champion who is very slow.
