First off, lets hope vitali even gets into the ring which is very unlikely considering he cancelled out on the hasim rahman fight 4 times, a boxing history record!!! and he also pulled out of the mccline fight, and quit against lightheavyweight with 3 rounds to go, so obviousely he is very fragile.

If he does make it into the ring, even against a predictable plodding crude overated bomber like peter, theres a good chance he might get beat. if he does, what will your opinion be?

    No

VK is going to be shot and I expect this to be a spectacle akin to a public execution.

On the plus side a Peter win will result in a Wlad Peter II match which will create a new lineal champion.

Given the time he has out of the ring I don't think it will affect his standing much, actually, I think he will win.If he kos Peter in 1 rd I won't rate him an ATG,likewise if his Brother racks up a series of stoppages against the available contenders I wont put him in the Greatest Pantheon, the division stinks,Ruiz is still a viable contender, how old is Maskaev?,the better guys tip toe around avoiding each other,if Vitaly does get in there with Peter,as limited as I think Peter is ,you must give the Ukranian credit for taking on one,if not the most dangerous of the division.

If Vitali loses, it will prove that he is over the hill and that he's not an especially good heavyweight anymore. However that will not change the fact that during his prime, Vitali was pretty damned good.

I think Vitali should have remained retired...that would have protected his legacy.

Though we have many similar views and I appreciate most of your contributions to the forum, I must say you come across as strongly biased against the Klitschkos. By no means would losing to a prime contender (even a limited one like Peter) at 37 years old in one's first fight back after a four-year layoff demonstrate that he was just "not that good."

It would simply demonstrate that Vitali no longer has it after years of struggling with injury. Under normal circumstances, Vitali would wipe the floor with Peter. It's as simple as that.

    No, they will not.

They will turn to the obvious excuse of him being 'shot' and then point out that Dr No Balls has had a great career, beating, erm, beating...ermm.

Well I am a big fan of Wladimir Klitschko so I would hope to god I don't come across as biased against him!! His brother on the otherhand is a fragile quitter who tested positive for steroids. Lets see if Vitali manages to make it into the ring.....

Well ,if he don't make it, he will have tried kick boxing and conventional boxing ,maybe he should pit his skills with you on the mat Suzie ? I'm sure you would not be lacking in endeavour!
