This is not a hate thread, seriously. Golovkin is 32 and some people are content with him staying at 160 (for now), at what age should he move up in weight?

Cleaning out middleweight. Making history claiming all the belts of a glamor division, like Hopkins did.

As soon as Ward moves up to LHW and Froch retires

Then super middle will be the equivilent to MW in terms of talent then GGG will have no issues dominating

He should stay at 160 as long as he can comfortably make weight. Guys make the mistake of chasing bigger opponents and fighting at weights that aren't ideal for them. GGG doesn't need to chase anyone. As he becomes more well known and starts to get more money, opponents will naturally gravitate towards fighting him due to the $$$. The last thing he should do is fight Ward at 168 next year and completely derail his career.

Well, if he moved up today, signing to fight Bika Dirrel winner.....

Ward would move forward with Kessler at 170, then Froch would fight Chavez Jr and retire.
Ward would then have completed his HBO deal and he'd be free to pay for Haymon services and go to Showtime with Adonis.:rofl:rofl:rofl

He should stay at MW which is one of the original eight divisions and outside of the heavyweight division its probably the one with the most glamor, stay at MW unify the titles and clean out the division and go down in history alongside ATG MW's like Monzon,Hagler,Hopkins etc. I also wouldnt mind seeing him fight at Super Mw but only for a big fight like Ward or Froch and then come back to MW other than that theres no point in moving up to a division without much history like is the SMW division and a division that if you look at the talent there isnt much better than MW if its better at all.

That's like the last thing he should do. Chase a big fight at a weight division not ideal for him.

GGG also looks like he can make 160 comfortably for years. He's not a big MW by any stretch.

BTW why arent these same clowns that want GGG to move up in weight not demand the same of Ward? After all Ward has already established himself as the undisputed number one fighter in the division and has beat all his main threats, so why stay in a dead division? A division where you have beat the toughest challengers and theres no one left for you to fight?

Ward has cleaned up SMW while Golovkin still has work to do at MW if someone needs to move up is Ward not Golovkin but in typical "clowns with an agenda" fashion some posters are more demanding towards fighters that they dont like or arent fans of than they are with their favorite fighters.

And if Ward spends his entire career at 168?

How will you feel about that?

Golovkin should move up in 2 years from now. Ward should've moved up in 2013. That's how I feel.

What is the last thing he should do?
