It is 367 days since Hatton hit the canvas and the ref speed counted to 10, since this injustice Hatton has not wore his gloves again. He has not though officially retired, he is leaving the door open, just in case he gets that feeling when he walks in his gym of actually using it. So should Hatton officially retire, if so when, or should he leave the door open indefinitely? Over to you.
he is young enough to fight again but he needs to be serious and get in shape. not sure he has the fight left in him anymore.
Now,no point coming back,he would have far too much weight to shift and he's achieved all he's going to..
Hatton was just as proud as Prince Nassim so dont expect him to retire.10yrs from now he will still be telling you he's waiting for the itch in his feet to return.
maybe he will do a morales and give his body a few years rest who knows but i swear while at boxing it came up on sky sports news that he announced his retirement....although now im starting to think the dehydration was messin with my head
no way can he get back down to 140 without doing serious damage to his health. Any weight above that and he wouldn't be competitive. Just needs to swallow his pride and pack it in.
He's living good right now. There's too many hungry guys at 135-147. He shouldn't come back for his health. I wouldn't want to see him get rocked anymoar than he already has.
When he or a doctor decide he has had enough right now he still can beat plenty of guys out there just not the top p4p guys who have beat him
I think he's had a helluva career and if anything has overachieved and taken part of history he can live off of for the rest of his life. Ego is the only reason he could have for staying in it. He should just enjoy the name he's built and the riches that came with it, imo.
He will stick around as long as stupid americans and stupid brittish agree to pay him tons of money to see him get his ass kicked
hey mate, the ref could have counted to 10 thousand, Ricky "I get hit man" Hatton wasn't moving. the man should stay out of boxing for his health.
