Should have retired after beating buchanan so he'd have avoided his loss to de jesus.

Unbeaten world champion would obviously make him the goat.

After the Barkley fight for me. I still consider it one of the best fighters any fighter has ever fought. It was a true masterpiece.

beating Barkley never was like beating Hearns since Hearns was a great fighter and Barkley was not. Also as for common opponents- Benitez outclassed Duran and Hearns beat Benitez that same year. If Duran really wanted to beat Hearns he would have had to do it himself, and he probably could not do it. in 10 fights Duran might have been able to get his right hand to hurt Hearns one time, but that is all. I just do not see how Duran beats Tommy with Hearns speed. As for when Duran should have retired? I think his career went well. Doesn't change much if he retires after Barkley or later.

    Fools !

You think you've seen the last of Manos de Piedra ?

He'll begin making his long awaited comeback this Fall with a couple of warm-ups (most likely Harrison , then Holyfield) as a prelude to his unification of the HW titles.
