His legacy would be slightly less than it is, but what would have happened to Leonard's legacy ?

 

Leonard would've never had the opportunity to make Duran look bad in a second fight & win the uneventful rubber match. Leonard would still go on to be great but beating Duran in the second fight was one of his greatest wins especially in the manner he did it. I used to hate seeing highlights of Duran-Leonard II but I think if I give watching it a chance I'll enjoy it. Hell I enjoy Leonard-Duran III though there wasn't much action in it!

The comeback losses to "Norris and Camacho" were ugly as sin.... However, SRL earned 11 million dollars between them two fights........ :shock:

Tunney should've stuck around to box Schmeling and Sharkey and then got out - but fair play to him

More recently Holy should've retired after Lewis II
