yes, he will be remembered as one of the all-time greats. it's actually the boxing writers of america that name the fighter of the decade. jones and pac are the only two winners of that award. from what i understand, the ring named fighters of the decade from the 1900s in a recent issue.

Jones fighting Tarver can ont be considered Jones hanging on the sport for too long. He was only 34 for **** sakes and with very little wear and tear at that.

wait you didnt think the final punch that Johnson hit him with was a bomb?

Jones was down for several minutes

and where he was after Ruiz maybe, but still that isnt top 25

RJ is definitely top 25, Roy should'nt have dropeped back down to 175lbs, he should've forced Tarver to fight at a catchweight of 190lbs. Roy had all the cards, and negotiating power, at that point Tarver would've caved in to every demand.

Watch the punch and tell me it's a bomb.

The victory over tarver clearly enhances his legacy without doubt.

For me he's top 30. Very few fighters have been the best in the world at both middleweight and light heavyweight.

He should be ranked where Hopkins is or a few spots behind Hopkins.
