Look from the get go....from the very start, the day after the cotto fight....If these negotiations went bad it was ALWAYS going to be floyd's fault....That is how he is precieved.....If things go bad and mayweather is involved it must be his fault......

But let's look at the facts....all last year roach was bitching this fight wouldn't happen because mayweather would ask for too much money, that has been proven false....Pacquiao got a 50/50 split when mayweather is the better seller....

Then they got the weight, the ring, the glove size....everything mayweather agreed to....he asked for random blood testing...and still he showed he was willing to negotiate that even......he dropped the USADA, and all the infinite random blood testing all the way up till fight time......his last offer was 14 days.....

Like I said no matter what floyd did, it was always going to be his fault....but let's look at the facts....and who's team has been caught to be liars, flip-floppers, and story changers....Team Pacquiao....

Put your personal opinions aside about mayweather, he has been more reasonable then what people give him credit for....

He wont take two weeks because asking for 14 when 24 is sufficent is just being a *****.

And the problem is Floyd knew he had no fight after this. PAc has enough fights to make $40 millions in a couple of years.

You don't know that. That's because there weren't any boxers so timid to get into the ring that they would demand nonsense like that. Like I said before... some people have a problem with needles and giving blood... some don't. We have no idea how those fighters would have reacted to such a slap in the face request by an opponent. However.. what we DO know is... that none of the fighters that you mentioned ever asked for their opponents to do something like this. Which is much more telling.

I'm objective and see both arguments as being valid. From Pacquiao's side, it's "why should I do this extra stuff?" Pacquiao's never tested dirty nor has he been linked to anything like other fighters have been. The usual procedure is simply urine tests, so what makes Floyd so special to have to do extra testing. Team Mayweather also shouldn't have made these public accusations/implications.

From Mayweather's side, well just because it's the usual procedure, does that mean it's the most effective? Flip Homansky was with the NSAC for over twenty years and he basically said "if you're not sloppy, you won't get caught". Margaret Goodman also publicly discussed the flaws in drug testing. If you're fighting someone, you have the right to ask for extra drug testing in the contract, and the other side has the right to reject it.

It comes down to leverage. Pacquiao's a star so he can ask for things outside the norm, like massive fees for being overweight. If Alfonso Gomez asked for a massive penalty fee if Cotto or Mayweather were overweight, he wouldn't get it, Gomez has no negotiating leverage. If Herman Ngoudjo asked for special drug testing against Pacquiao, it wouldn't make it to any mediation. Mayweather has leverage, Ngoudjo is a nobody in terms of drawing money.

Now these two sides and two egos clash, and boxing fans are getting ****ed because of it.
