wigger Mcfitz thinks collazo beats cotto because he is 'slick'

alot of hatton fans also say luis collazo was a 'slick' southpaw.

does being a soutpaw automatically make you slick?

from what i remember luis collazo is nothng more than a brawler, where do people see his 'slickness'?

He's not slick but he's pretty fast. Cotto would mangle him, obviously.

Well at points in his career he was a quite mobile. He's more a boxer if anything he understands the game well enough to make people miss and counter effectively. He's not the most physically gifted fighter but he makes up for it with rind intellegence and knowledge of the technical aspects of the game. He has above average reflexes but I would consider him a total slickster....

I agree against Hatton for about 3/4's of the bout he looked like a young SRL. ;)

he's a decent boxer puncher who is more mobile than he would appear to be

Brawler? Maybe I haven't seen enough of his fights (Riveria, Gonzazles, Hatton and Mosely) but I don't know where that comes from... I'd probably agree that he's more of a boxer-puncher.

Because Collazo can bang when he wants to but, its clear from his style that he had an amatuer ubringing that taught him how to utilize his lefthandedness, and become something more than a crude puncher. I don't see how you you don't see this is possible.

You said he is more mobile than he appears to be I just saw that as a contradiction in terms.

If you see something with your own eyes, how can it be actually be faster than what your eye sees.

Not more slick that we see him to be, but rather, more slick than we perceive him to be. Watching him, some people don't realize he's as slick as he is because he does stay in the pocket and bang.

I dont even think that Collazo even on Quintana's level. He is not even as elusive as Quintana, and quite frankly, that's not saying much as far as his skills are concerned.

I've come to accept that while Fitz does have something good to say about 1 every 100 posts, overall he is just a complete idiot and is too biased to have a grip on reality when it comes to boxing knowledge.
