Simple: When Vitali retires, who does Wladimir Klitschko (if he stays undefeated) has to beat, to become the Lineal Champion?

And no Wladimir is NOT the current Lineal Champion. He would have to beat Vitali to become the Lineal Champion.

Being Ring Magazine Champion DOES NOT mean you are the Lineal Champion.

the #1 and 2 in the WBC fight for the title (for example if Vitali retired after the Chisora fight, Arreola as #1 faces #2 Dimitrienko) winner faces Wlad, simple :yep

Well how about Povetkin? Even though he has his Papper title. Is he still the most legit challenger and has been it for a long time. ?

Titles dos'nt mean that much. Fighting the best means it all.

He is the lineal champ already. Vitali retired already thus making said lineal title vacant. Based on your theory what would make Wlad win the belt if Vitali never loses it when he retires?

It doesn't matter if Povietkin holds that paper belt, many boxing fans will still view him as the legit Champ

? how many times does Wlad need to beat the WBA champ, so no one can claim a share of that bull**** title.

Don't most people consider Wlad to be the #1 & linear champion already?

No way. Wladimir needs to beat Vitali to be No. 1.

Listen man: There is no number #1 in the heavyweight division right now. Vitali and Wladimir are the Champions. How can Wladimir be No. 1, when many thinks and says that Vitali is far better and would beat Wladimir.

Wlad is the champion in my eyes. However there is no lineage until #1 fights #2.

    Thank you.

And with Wladimir being #1 and Vitali #2, they have to fight each other before he have an Lineal Champion.

But that will never happen, so Wladimir will has to fight #2 after Vitali retires. But who will that be:think

Its really arguable who has fought the better guys since vitali's initial retirement. Wlad got his belt from Chris Byrd who he already beat before and it took him too long to rematch brewster. In their next fights, vitali is fighting the better guy.

After vitali retires, they should do a mini tournament. It doesnt have to be huge, even just 4 guys but wlad and the 3 best other guys and that would be enough to clear up that hes the best, because it wont really be a question if he is the best or not just officially proving it with a record of wins.
