In his hometown, do you think he considered giving up?

After all, he lost to a journeyman.

He has had his fragile glass jaw shattered 3 times.

Are you telling me I'm wrong?

Yes u jackass there is a HUGE difference between being KO'd Cold and having a fight stopped due to exhaustion. Wlad was not out cold in that fight at all.

Ross Puritty, was a tough hard ass, no cream puff, hell he whipped Tommy Morrison's ass way back in the day, only for the assholes score it a draw, to preserve Morrison's great white hope status...

Wlad has been ko'd 3 times so what, that was before he learned how to really fight behind Manny Steward, and he hasn't lost in almost 10 years...

He is a rare breed of fighter that gets better with age, he's had a better career than his brother:deal

Remember when Ali got his ass kicked? And Lennox Lewis? And Joe Louis? And Holyfield? And essentially every other great fighter in history?

I commend Wlad on knowing what it takes to succeed in this sport. Wlad is old school in that he will fight anyone, and he will do anything to win.

He either won by car crash or was in one.

Real fans respect Wlad. It's his fans who promote him as the best ever and use Wlad's size as to how he can beat anyone. They have excuses for why he didn't ko Haye and Ibragimov. He didn't need any. Wlad beating Povetkin was dirty and piu$$y. You know it and I know it. He can't fight like that again. If he does, I wont watch him fight anymore or until I read about him using his tools.

Now you might say nobody gives a !@#!$ about you. A lot of people don't either, and a lot do.

Wlad has to make them give a ****, and he hasn't. They know that he isn't a pushover anymore, but Wlad ain't looking or fighting like a dominant champ. He's winning, and that's all that matters. Just don't get mad when someone criticizes his way of fighting.

Wlad isn't globally loved like past heavies. He is more respected than loved imo. It's not his personality either.

Doesn't matter, but does it-to you? I wanted Wlad universally loved like other heavies. Don't nobody hate on Wlad because he's white. Gtfooh with that. Fans really cracked him for his hold and clinching. Now he's throwing mofos down, lmao. Gtfooh with that.

Don't take this as a negative. Far from it... To me it's his style. He doesn't in fight, and he didn't when he had to.

    Now he doesn't have to.

If he had an inside game, Wlad would be one of the best heavies ever in my mind. He will always be looked at as a guy with size who could give anyone trouble imo.

Actually, Vlad has never been knocked out. He was TKO'd when he fought Puritty, his corner stopped the fight because Vlad ran out of gas while beating the crap out of Puritty. Vlad was out on his feet and got angry with his corner for stopping it in the 11th round. Vitali and Vlad spent too much time promoting that fight, Vlad did not train as much as he should have, he also had diarrhea and weighed only 236 lbs. for that fight. However, in Vlad's next fight he was the first to stop Axel Schultz, stopped him in the 8th round, something Foreman could not do, in fact, Foreman got his arse beaten by Schultz, a split decision, demands for a rematch happened, so the IBF ordered a rematch, Foreman gave up his IBF title rather than fight Schultz again.

In the Corrie Sanders fight, Sanders had trained for months, was in the best shape of his life and was going to fight Valouev. Vlad had just Stopped McCline in the 10th round and wanted to fight a top fighter with a big name. I warned a member of Vlad's team not to fight Sanders, I had always followed Sander's career, ask Bobby Czyz about Sanders. I posted on ESB years ago, that if you want so see Vlad knocked out or, at least knocked down then watch this fight someway. I also warned Klaus Peter Kohl, posted warnings on boxing.de, etc. Vlad did not spar, just mainly lifted weights, much less spar with any southpaws. He came into the ring cold and disinterested. So, I was not surprised at all. Lennox Lewis said he avoided fighting Sanders. Sanders in top shape was awesome. He would have been the gold medalist but was not allowed to fight in the Olympics because he was from South Africa. Whatever, Vlad got up from every knockdown and was TKO'd, not knocked out.

In the Brewster fight Vlad was drugged. I have no doubt about it and neither did Steward...........There had been an ongoing FBI investigation in Vegas for fight fixing. I can post the letter to the Attorney Gen. and Sen. McCain if you want. Don King would not allow Vlad to get a rematch with Brewster until Don King was out of the way. Vlad stopped Brewster easily in the rematch. By the way, Sanders refused to give Vlad a rematch, but Vitali did get to fight him, stopped him. The MRI showed zero signs of a concussion, but the doctors were concerned about his going into a diabetic coma. Vlad does not and has never had diabetes, but some drugs raise your sugar level. If you want to read the letter I can post it here once again, but the haters do not want to hear the truth, of course.

Lennox Lewis was knocked out cold by Rahman and TKO'd by McCall. If you want to see Lewis clinch and hug a fighter you should watch some of his fights, such as Lewis/Tua and Lewis Tyson, etc. Yes, Lewis has been KO'd. So was Joe Louis, Tyson, Jersey Joe Walcott, Floyd Patterson, Liston, Weaver, etc.

Wlad's only loss that was do to the Chin was against Sanders. Sanders Chinned him. Purrity and Brewster didn't do anything but serve as punching bags.

Wlad was also rocked by D Williams and other fighters too. Sanders chin checked his ass and his chin failed him. That's why they kept Wlad away from a immediate rematch. That's why they keep Wlad away from punchers and let Vitali deal with them.
