Technically he wasn't stripped, he gave up the belt in November 2006 because he preferred to fight Manfredo instead of his mandatory.

Robert Stieglitz. He fought Berrio for the vacant IBF title. He's not as bad as the result (T/KO3 in favour of Berrio) would indicate.

Would he stand a chance against Calzaghe: Of course not.

Is he better than Manfredo: Of course, he is.

The name boxer, it was all to do with the American media.

Without the Manfredo fight HBO would never have let Calzaghe - Kessler go ahead.

i wouldnt be so sure he is better than Manfredo considering he has yet to beat anyone. He didn't deserve the ranking or the mandatory at all. it made less sence than the ibf making austin wlad's mandatory. no one cared about Calzaghe Stieglitz and Calzaghe would have made nothing for it.

So infact he has only been champion from 03-04-2006 to Nov. 2006 if you dont count WBO.

Stieglitz was undefeted at that time and would have made so much more sence, so thanks to Warren and Joe, Calzaghe VS Kessler is not really about becomming undisputed :patsch
