    I think his prime ended when he went up in weight to fight DLH. When I think prime Mayweather, I think about his days at lower weight divisions. He was stupid fast and still had KO power back then.

    Most people would say Hatton fight, and I also think that's reasonable.

    People who talk about how good he looked in the Alverez fight are fooling themselves.

    Floyd looked bad against Cotto getting pushed to the ropes and unable to get off. Looked unbeatable against Alverez. But then looked bad against Miadana again being pushed to the ropes and unable to get off.

    It's not that Floyd was so great against Alverez. It's thst Alverez was so bad against Floyd. Alverez ' skills and style doesn't stress Floyd's shot legs. He is able too box the way he did in his 20s because even on his late 30s he is still that much better of a boxer than Alverez.

    We saw the same thing with Ali at the end of his career. Against the right guys he was still able to shine like old and win convincingly but when pressed by anyone younger with good feet he was forced to rope a dope.
