It’s ok my typing was still crap. It’s what happens when you multi task and don’t proof read

Young Foreman. He threw more Haymakers which usually have a little bit more force than correct punching plus he had better hip rotation because he was more athletic. 90s Foreman was heavier but he wasn't hurting guys as often when he landed

That’s it, that’s why Foreman couldn’t hurt Ali enough to do anything if you see it coming it won’t stop a durable opponent the way a shot from say Tyson would the timing and the “trickery” of it produces the KO.

Jeez I dunno man. He clipped Moore with a few straight rights but the one that KO’d him did unbelievable damage.

I’m not necessarily disagreeing, more playing devil’s advocate.

I guess it’s arguable from both ends depending on the exact definitions and criteria applied.

Via the most fundamental interpretation, I think GF literally threw his hardest punches in his first career.

But then second career George still punched very hard and more consistently so in so far as for longer due to far better pacing and metered output.

Certainly, the parts that made the sum of Old George’s power weren’t exactly the same as those that comprised first career George’s formidable punch.

i like this comparison. Bakole reminds me a lot of old Foreman actually. Doesn't really swing for the fences, but doesn't need to, anything he lands is like getting hit with a bat.

Old Foreman(2) lost his power his last few fights just like Louis did. The Moorer KO was the final KD of Foremans career. Old Foreman(1)? If he hit harder he wasn't able to land as consistantly.

Old Foreman didn't need to sell out on his punches to inflict top damage. His simple pitty pat could put you to sleep.

I have spoken to three guys who sparred with George and all agreed he just hit differently. Different. Changed the gravity of the ring, up from down, east from west. It wasn't that he put you instantly to sleep. He changed your world.
