    maybe Brewster - Liakhovich (2006-04-01) WBO

    I think that you need to elaborate some here. Lennox vs Tyson was the heavyweight championship. Lennox wont therefore I think that it would be fair to say that all his fights thereafter would be heavyweight championship fights.

    Lennox vs Vitali lived up to it during the fight, but up to then it barely ranked as being a HW Championship fight.

    Vitali took the fight on short notice when Johnson was injured, and the Johnson vs Lewis fight was not going to be a HW Championship calliber fight.

    I don't think Lewis treated it like it was a HW Championship fight either.

    Not all LL fights were great, dramatic and attractive to watch. By "World heavyweight championship bout", I understand a fight in which both fighters show skills and heart. It's not about the names.

    Wlad vs Byrd II.

    Whatever you think of either fighter, they were both legit champions.

    In terms of "when was the last fight between two superstars to decide the head-and-shoulders-above-the-rest undisputed HW Champ".... that was probably Lewis vs Holyfield.

    I wouldn't call that fight so... no entertainment, limited skills shown, boring...

    About 2-3 years ago, HW divsion hadn't any superstars, but it was quite interesting. And now? :/
