When was the last glorious time in heavyweight boxing?

    For me personally, the last time heavyweight boxing really appealed to me, it was the back end of Lewis s reign.

    When Lennox retired it seemed to say goodbye to that great 90 s time, of big hitting heavy s, crazy incidents and brawling corners and characters.
    I know some will say recent times have been great but it's never recaptured what it had for me.

    Just my pov.

    I think we’re having a pretty glorious time right now, the much smaller and older Usyk beat the top 3 in his division twice each, Turki’s cheques are finally getting the talented tubbies into the gym and signing contracts for big fights.

    2015 to 2025 was pretty fun IMO.

    We did miss out on a lot of good fights though, mainly with AJ against the likes of Fury and Wilder.

    Didn't help that Wilder fought gatekeepers throughout his whole title reign.
