he was down once but not from a punch, he broke his hand on a guy's head and took a knee. he's never been knocked down and only ever hurt against corley

Mayweather has been knocked down just once in his career, thats because of injured hands. He hit Carlos Hernandez with a left hook in their May 26, 2001, bout. The pain caused him to drop his left hand to the canvas, and the referee ruled it a knockdown.

 

I heard he got knocked down earlier in his career but apparently it wasn't a legit knock down even though officially it is counted as one.

Have not seen the fight myself so can not confirm it.

It was a result of a left hand. You can blame the foot work if you want but he went down at the end of a punch. That was the pure defintion of a KD it's a shame that Judah was ripped off of it. not that it would have made a difference in the fight but at least he'd be able to brag about being the only guy to KD floyd.

He was down because he broke his hand with Famoso Hernandez.

He was never actually put down.
