Winky Wright held the IBF/WBA/WBC at one time, also, at 154, Lun. I think all the ones I've mentioned were since 2000.

I'm not Wlad fan but he is from Europe and he will be greater than Clazaghe for sure once he retires!
Lennox Lewis should be counted as European so thats one more greater boxer from Europe, so dont post bull****.

    Good list, much appreciated, boss
Aha! Should have known they'd be a list somewhere!

Ward doesn't want to fight Bute though, does he?

Joe calzaghe was truly undisputed in 2007, I'm not sure we've had one since then.

Yeah Hopkins was the first to unify all 4, Jermain was the second to do it by beating Hopkins so 2005(Taylor would drop/be stripped of the IBF belt between the first Hopkins fight and the rematch and would drop/be stripped of the WBA after the rematch)

    Mike Tyson did it.

prior to the Baldomir fight Zab Judah had unified the WBC, WBA, IBF versions of the belt. So 2005 for him.

Wladimir Klitschko unified everything else other than the WBC.

Roy Jones unified damn near every belt under the sun at 175 other than the WBO.

Mate, the list of greatest European fighters is not short and Lennox, Calzaghe and Volo aren't the top dogs on that list for most, I don't think.

Looking at the list it's Darchinyan in December 2009 followed by Jermaine Taylor in December 2006. 2 in the past 5 years.

If we are to consider Lennox British, then yes Lennox is in fact the greatest European boxer of all time, I accept that. I rank Lennox Lewis as one of the top 3 if not the greatest Heavyweight of all time.

Wlad? Name me one win Wlad has on his record that is as good as prime Kessler, or moving up LHW to beat the lineal champion in Hopkins. Wlad's best win is against a former middleweight (Byrd), his other notable wins are Sam Peter and David Haye (career cruiserweight).

Joe has comparable wins to Wlad if not better, furthermore Joe was never knocked out by journeymen.

lewis is ahead of calzaghe, but wlad isn't. who has wlad beaten that was better than kessler, hopkins, lacy, eubank?

i'll tell you who... nobody. his resume is actually very poor. he has a few good fighters on it but that's it. he'll never have a resume to match calzaghe's.
