1st round against peter in their last fight

 

I think Thompson landed a couple punches on him.

 

I don't have a clip, but during the 2nd Peter fight, Peter got one in perfectly flush, think it was off of a break....Wladimir didn't flinch.

Guys, if you don't already understand this, you need to. Wladimir does not have a bad chin. Period. All of his problems were in his head, he panicked, etc... Those problems have been taken care of.

So even if Wladimir were to go down from a punch, I can guarantee you he would be right back up, and know how to continue. Even when Sanders hit him he kept getting up, over and over he got up (someone with a bad chin doesn't do that). He just didn't know the proper way to react in a fight. Now he does. So, with that said, all of the "chin problems" are in the past, imo.

 

His haters will NEVER understand or admit to the TRUTH about his grill.
He gets hit squarely on the chin in every fight, it is just that since he's got his confidence back, he's not flailing about like a chicken with his head cut off.

 

Exactaly. He's been KD/TKO'd mainly cause of the poor mental state he was in those fights. Now, Wladimir is a much smarter and much more transitional boxer in the ring.

 

The FIRST Peter fight was the last time I saw a fighter will the balls and the punch to bring it to Wladimir. No surprise that Klitschko was dropped three times in that one. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Haye tags him on that fragile beard.

 

Too bad Rahman didn't land ONE single meaningful punch LOL. Wlad's defense is unbelievable.

 

Wlad weak Chin is a myth.

 

Exactly. Hasim Rahman, for example, has a MUCH worse chin. When he hit the deck, generally speaking, the fight was over. He got utterly KOd several times - even knocked OUT of the ring once - while Wlad always kept getting up. Rahman's chin is abysmal, yet he takes about half the **** that Wlad does and Wlad has a much better chin!

 

I don't believe Wlad has a particularly weak chin at all.

But Haye is probably the fighter with the best combination of speed and power in his punches that Wlad will have faced since Corrie Sanders.

Still, I expect Wlad to have little trouble.

 

I just jope both Haye and Wlad suddenly get granite in their respective chins and go for a epic war.
