    No slagging off either guy (there are already plenty of threads for that :lol:) and if we are honest I think we can ,mostly, all agree that they are both talented fighters.

    but when was the last time you were this excited about a Heavyweight Battle ? :huh


    for me its Rahman V lewis 2 ( thats Nov 2001 for those who can't remember 8 ****in years ago , Damn ! )

    Valuev vs Holyfield cuz I love Evander.
    Before that I migt hae to to Vitali vs Sanders or Lewis vs Vitali even.
    Looking forward to Wlad vs Haye though.

    hmm says... I don't remember.... that's how bad it is. The only time I pay attention to the HW division is when there is a big fight with the champions and top contenders. Other than that, I don't really care much for the rest of the division and what goes on outside the ring or the fighters personal lives, etc. Right now the big draw for me is Klit-Haye and Val-Chag on the side..

    Yeah I mean Vitali v Lewis was an exciting fight but everyone new regardless of the result Lennox was likely packing it so it wasnt really set the blood on fire.

    Thank god for Wlad + Dave !

    I'm a sucker for the HW division, even in its watered down state. With that said, I was looking forward to the Peter/Vitali fight. What a let-down that was!

    Purely because it was the first unification in FOREVER and i thought that maybe it might put some buzz back in the division and maybe even boxing as a whole. Can't believe how badly it turned out...

    Forget what happened in the fight as this is a thread about when you last looked FORWARD to a heavyweight fight. Wlad vs Ibragimov.... I stayed up to 5:00am watching that... :rofl

    I was pretty excited about Wlad/Peter at the time. Comebacking Wlad & fast-rising Peter. Wasn't even a title fight, though.
