I spent a lot of time watching old times fights in the internet (not only youtube) some years ago, but I dont usually do it anymore.

Now, when I watch fights in the internet (youtube or dailymotion mainly) I watch fights of current fighters that I dont know very well. Whenever an unknown fighter gets a hell of an oportunity, or whenever I watch a fight of a guy that I dont know but impresses me, or maybe a guy whose record doesnt make sense for whatever reason. In order to get a clean idea about him I look for his previous fights. I mostly know the outcome of course, because I've previously made some research about him.

I'm most interested about prospects/unknown/weird guys who are fighting today than about the classics. I don't have time enough to watch all the fightnights, so there are a lot of figthers that I don't know but they are worth knowing. So that's how I use youtube today, in order to know them when I realize that they are worth it.

I find dailymotion quite a better place than youtube to do so, btw.

I feel that way about Ron Harris in the MW division. He's a local guy to me which is how I know him. Gold medalist, totally in the mix in the 70's, has a win over future world champ, but never won the big one. It's a lot of guys like that.
