When we Compare boxers of different eras Are we biases?

Thats true there is more money in fighting than there was during that time.
guys like SRL, ali, hearns, haggler, pep, patterson would be thinking differently if they were fighting for 10s of millions of dollars instead of tens or hundreds of grands or barely over a million.

Also there is a bigger emphasis on keeping a zero to mantain marketability which is why current boxers dont fight that often and also take months to train for one fight rather than a few weeks or days like they did a LOOOOONG time ago.

I dont think fighters fear other fighters at all but because millions is on the line and whole careers in terms of marketability can change because of one fight.

the obsession of the zero and money caused the corruption in boxing.

In a sense I guess we really cant blame certain fighters for not wanting to fight certain fighters in this day and age.
