This guy was something else. Flashy, powerful throwing punches from all different angles. Not sure what happened to him but I assume something with Al Quaeda ?

Would love to see the next Naseem Hamed soon.

They're trying to hype up another Ingle fighter, Kid Gavillan or something like that, same style, nowhere near the same power

Had all the tools to be one of the very best ATGs except a measure of humility. A tiny amount of respect would have allowed him to check his runaway ego and maybe keep him from self destruction.

    Shame!

This guy was a British hype job, he was no where near ATG, and he knew this, which is why is bowed out quietly soon after being exposed.....

    ???...What comment? Mine??

The dude had more ego than anything.......The one day he had to fight at the Elite level he could not hack it.

His mouth, ego, and fans wrote checks he could not cash....He was obnoxious....

But the real reason why he bailed of the boxing game was that he was just getting success here in the States, as he was a British Boxer, then 9/11 happened, he was an adamant Muslim who made it a point to tell any one who would hear him longer then ten seconds. A

round that time, the last thing most red blooded Americans wanted to see or hear was an Arrogant Muslim, professing Allah and punching American boxers. HBO made a business decision not to hype him, him having seen all he was gonna accomplish in UK monetarily/professionally decided he was done...

If the 9/11 not happened, NAZ would have been a superstar into the late 2000's in the states, fought well into being "shot" or "past it"

American sentiment weighs alot on HBO business decisions, and again after seeing this

**** that, Hamed being Muslim should have 0 influence on his boxing career in the us just because they found a new face for the enemy after the soviet union fell.

Your right, I agree, but it is what it is.

There were banning songs you couldn't even listen to "Another one Bites the dust" radio stations had lists on "insensitive" songs.

How could such inexperienced pilots do such damage w/ no communication and both delivering perfect strikes ?
Similar to Ryan Rhodes w/o a corner KO'ng pacquiao and Malagnaggi doing the same to a prime Mayweather on the same night.

Hamed was exciting , that doesnt make you great , beat a lot of names .

Would have been absolutely destroyed by Morales.

On another note Floyd was at super feather when Hamed was in his prime , that would have been a onesided ass kicking.

    Hamed was entertaining .
