Campbell Hatton vs TBA for fight number 14 of his career.

Seems a nice lad, but at what point does a step up in levels happen?

He gets a lot of hate in here but I've enjoyed following his fights. He has definitely improved. Give it a couple more fights then its time to step it up a level. He's a young lad, there's no rush.

It will take a long time and lots of patience to lead Campbell Hatton to a British title fight. How much money is Matchroom willing to invest in Campbell Hatton's career development ?

The question is if Matchroom will get their investment back ?

How many kids has Campbell got, is it still just the one? Lad's sandbagged his Johnson getting a girl knocked up so early in his life now that he's a professional boxer.

Don't know if he's got the talent to step up would be nowhere near the telly if wasn't for his surname and some dodgy scoring.

Stepping this kid up will get him KTFO or just beaten up. The cold truth is, he has basically got zero natural talent and is struggling at the entry level he’s at now:

I’m not sure what the rush is. He has been professional for 2 and a half years and has had 13 fights. In Hatton’s previous fight against Tom Ansell, he beat a former challenger of the Southern Area Title at that weight (140). Hatton didn’t have an extensive amateur career.

I think Hatton will be in 10 round title fights in the second half of 2024. Recently he has been on early during the night too.
Regardless of what you think he hasn’t struggled in his recent fights. I’m not saying he’s a world-beater but you’re being too harsh and over-exaggerating.

"Sandbagged his Johnson" is poetry, I keep chuckling. I just told my wife she sandbagged my Johnson. She proceeded to dead my arm. Worth it.

My guess is he goes the "Intercontinental" trinket nonsense way, effectively paying for a world ranking, and he avoids the British title all together

I think putting him so much higher on the bill because of his dad's name has had a negative effect for him.

He seems like a nice lad but having him rammed down our throat as the next big thing when he was an absolute novice hasn't worked for me

As others say no rush. There might be if he wasn't boxing regular but he is. And as said hes young. Agree improving a bit fight by fight and at the lower end of top cards so hell be on a decent purse, partly cos of his name but what the hell?? He wont be fitting carpets.
