When will Cleverly, Mitchell, DeGale, Gavin and Saunders return?

Agreed, with the exception of Mitchell.... he wants to be out straight away. He's turned his career around now with the win and needs to build on it.

Even if it's not a major title fight, a couple of genuine 8 rounders rather than bull**** intercontinentals against scared opponents would be fine.

Not sure what to do with Clev, I'd line Shumenov up in a unification. He's not a dangerous banger that I'd keep Clev away from.... he's a solid boxer with atrocious stamina.

Are Sky looking at shutting Allegedly out.... is he too much trouble?

The Hearns and Sky have a rock solid relationship that benefits everybody, including the fans. Might see them dominate Sky's coverage with others trying to become #2.

 

I'd imagine their darts coverage gives them a bit of pulling power.

 

It's mainly the opponents to be honest..... a few that Mitchell has had have been absolute wank, Khan was the same, other times it's annoying when a perfectly acceptable domestic opponent doesn't get the call instead.

In terms of Matchroom getting the dates, it does seem they've got too many, but if they deliver I'm not bothered.

The Hattons seem to be doing some good things, streaming the undercard on Hatton TV/youtube (can't remember which) - something that Sky ought to do on the red button.

 

Doesn't Hearn produce a huge percentage of Sky Sports' programming?

Yes mate Matchroom are making fans look up and notice, i would have thought this would have kicked fwank into gear but it dont seem like it, he might well lose a few of his charges to matchroom

 

Pretty disappointing as the past season has being good for ****** - he gave us a lot of good fights but now doesn't have anything lined up :-(

And there's all this talk about his lads taking a bigger role and doing a lot of the promoting as well. But for the past few years ****** fighters just haven't being kept active enough...these Olympians should have had at least 15 fights by now, and the likes of Heffron should be out every other month learning their trade. It's disappointing that DeGale has being a pro for nearly 3 years and has only had 11 fights :nut

Guys like Cleverly and Mitchell need to build up some momentum and keep their name out their. Atm, they put in one great performance and then just go off the radar. Don't know if it's down to Sky or ****** himself.

Hopefully when the contracts come up for renewal (next summer isn't it?) things become a lot clearer and British boxing gets stronger with bigger shows and better fights.

Wouldn't have taken a lot of cash from Frank to get Ndou over, much like Johnson he'll fight anybody in their own backyard.

Perhaps they were keen on the WBO route because of their ''relationship'', with the welterweight division always being pretty strong there'd be less requirement to face top contenders or travel for fights.

A promoter of Frank's experience ought to have known that the WBO weren't going to contest Pacquiao fighting Margarito for the WBC at 154..... instead he could have manoevred Kell down the IBF route. But all we got was ''Pacquiao should vacate to stop holding up Kell's career.....''
