    Really, Andre Golota?
I'll concede Razor Ruddock was a decent opponent, but nobody special , and neither was Bruno

Chris Arreola and Sergey Laohovich were just as good as anyone there you mentioned.

This guy defended his IBF title 21 times:

and nobody mentions him when talking about SMW greats. Wanna guess why?

Probably because he never stepped foot out of Germany, not even to come to US and fight Roy Jones.....and probably only because he could only muster 6 KOs in his entire career...

All that aside, ive always respected Ottke for his longevity, whether or not they were all hometown fights.

That's the diference between me and most of the posters on this forum.. I have respect for any and all fighters..

It's the media and fans who i have no respect for, as most don't know s about boxing and are complete fan boys for unproven fighters

Never. How can you respect somebody who talks absolutely unbearable ****?

“I want a body on my record, I wanna kill somebody in the ring.”

“All these guys taking drugs when there’s people dying in the ring, it’s so sad”

    Absolute clown.

“Joshua wasn’t a real champion, he never faced anybody” - never faced anyone good himself.

You think so? I was at Staples Center when vitali beat Areola and he received quite a bit of credit for doing so, it is a top 3 win for vitali behind Sam Peter and Chisora...
Funny how you give Wilder no credit for decimating the same guy in half as many rounds.

:ohno 7 years and many beatings later, Wilder managed to beat the ghost of Chris Arreola. Let's hold a party

Wilder has barely stepped foot out of the US, he's fought a string of bums in the main and he's ducked the best fighters around.

    I see some strong similarities.

The only difference is that I'll give Wilder credit for being entertaining, he's never in a boring fight. But that doesn't an ATG make.

Hey, fair enough, but then you'll understand why many other people have opinions other than yours.

    No it's not.
Vitali's best win is without question Corrie Sanders. Then Peter then take your pick between Chisora, Adamek or Hide. But them 3 all rate above Arreola.
A few points and observations I'd like to make.
    1. 8 is not half of 10...
    2. Vitali doesn't get much credit for Arreola, he doesn't deserve and neither does Wilder. Arreola is a poor HW.
    3. Arreola was 7 years older, had lost 3 times and was coming of a draw and a ND

Ok, well not to change the subject, but if no credit given to Vitali for beating Areola , who should we give him credit...if you ask me that was one of his better opponents.

I myself give him no credit for beating Chisora because he fought Chisora scared, when he should have gone for KO after Chisora slapped him at the weigh in and then spit in Wlads face at the fight itself.

That doesn't leave too many top opponents on Vitali 's resume.

    Peter?
    Sanders?
    Danny Williams?

Yes, that is fine. Unlike most of this forum i am secure enough to respect other people's opinions and not respond with personal attacks, profanity, and stupid looking memes

Respect is Earnt or earned Wilder has none of this atm he's a protected fighter upto now.
The sad thing is Wilder has great power but his team won't let him in with the best it's all about his zero.
The next one will be HOF lol.
