when will fighters learn: you can only stop Mexi's with Body shots

    Am I wrong on this one? Where the hell was cotto's body game? It was his bread and butter punch.

    Yes, you should be wrong... Mexi's and PRicans should have the same nature, anatomy and boxing qualities as americans and others. Again, Miguel didn't have room and the necessary balance/leverage to volley punch hard to the middle section and that had to do with Margarito's strategy jumping on top of him from the start. Miguel did well to headhunt with flashy counters in combinations and flurries.

    Cotto's left hook to the body does not require room. He usually leans shoulder to shoulder with his opponent until he sees an opening and fires away. It's a short, direct punch requiring little distance. However, he was on the backfoot the whole night, and those never really attempted to get the punch off.
