Will he come in Nov. 13th and get old over night?
Or will it be towards the end of his career, when he has 2 or 3 fights left?
    Or never?

i think floyd is still game.....AT 34 OSCAR WAS CONSIDERED "OLD"..BUT AT 34 I THINK FLOYD WILL STILL BE FRESH..

HIS STYLE AND NOT TAKING PUNISHMENT IS WHAT ALLOWS HIM TO STAY FIGHTING IMO..

Its hard to say. He says getting hit is stupid , he is not a fan of wars and loves his 0. I am not shure he will let us see when age is showing by either adapting his style a little, the SSM fight could be a nice way for him to go , or he could hang up his gloves.

you never know really, he could be a freak like hopkins or calzaghe, i dont think he abuses his body to much, and he doesnt take a whole lot of punishment, so he might have a few fights left in him

Floyd is a gym rat and gym rats last long. On the other hand I do agree with certain comments that Floyd became a bit flat-footed, more physical lately and and maybe a bit slower compared to a few years back, so he might be showing age already. But think Hopkins: when he lost speed made up with timing, when lost mobility (though never was a mover) became more physical on the inside, when lost energy of the youth, started to clinch and hold more, I think Floyd is heading that direction. Contrary what he says he'll stay in boxing because 24/7 is the only way to get the kind of attention he wants, and few will give a damn once he's gone, so he's forced to dance with boxing stars if he wants more $ & fame.

I was convinced that it was happening during the first two rounds of Mosley fight. The he proved me wrong of course. He aged a ton in the last few years as far as his appearance. His speed will start eroding at some point. You could only cheat time for so long and then one day bam, you're out cold like RJJ. Can't compare Floyd to Roy as far as his technique goes to be fair.

+1, Oscar admitted he aged faster since he partied and didn't take care of his body at times. Oscar was in a few wars himself.

I think he's already past his prime, and maybe a little less agile/quick then he used to be , but he's still very good.

Pretty much agree with everything here. I dread thinking what his punch output will look like a year from now.

I think it already is. It's taking him longer and longer to warm up and run smoothly.

I think Pac has a good shot of beating him and Floyd needs to fight him quick in order to turn the screw the way he can.

If he feels himself slipping to a level below other guys in the mix he will call it a career. But if he can still beat guys on the decline(which he can b/c of his style) he will. He pretty much only has to worry about big punchers just like anyone else. There is still nobody in his realm skills wise.
