How many of ya feel sorry for this guy? HE never seems to get a break no matter who he beats. He's prolly the worst lucked guy in boxing.. I mean poop ever since he upset Juarez back in 05, he was supposed to move on to bigger things, instead, he's been ducked by everybody... 5 years has passed and one big fight was against Guzman which was a bad style matchup and a boring ass fight... Juarez who lost got how many title shots since then??? This is what's wrong with boxing..

Who will soto fight next????????? How possible is it for him to face the winner of Valero/Demarco?

Maybe he should fight Katsidis for the full WBO title since JMM is unlikely to drop back to 135lbs.

he was being considered as pac's opponent then but too bad that oscar called top rank and wants a piece of pac himself. also i understand that if he just won the guzman fight, arum was ready to put him against his priced fighter.

If he had finished off Chavez in exciting and explosive fashion, the powers that be could have pulled strings and set him up for a big time fight this year.

    He didnt do that, really.

  8. Soto is meticulous and Chavez is tough. Soto fought beautifully that night; who gives a **** if he didn't score the KO? His uppercuts are a sight to behold...poetry in motion.

    Not saying he fought poorly.

Just saying that the people behind the scenes sometimes want to see prospective headliners finish a good name fighter in an explosive manner, before deciding to give them a big break.

I remember watching Soto in Pac's undercard against Diaz. I was AMAZE on how good he is. I'm suprised that he hasn't caught his break.

He beat Juarez in an interim fight and never got his shot at a real belt. He did not get that fight til Guzman who ran like hell avoided a fight and won in pitiful fashion. Soto started blasting out contenders until getting a crack inly to be unbelievably conned when DQ'd for a punch that did not even land. He won the remathc and nobody wanted to challenge him for the belt so he had to move up. i thought this guy deserved something a long time ago he never got his due and has got the **** end of the stick numerous times. He came so close to a pac fight after beating bobby pac i thought he had a good chance against the 130 pound version of manny. I am a big fan but unfortunatley the man cannot get his break
