Yes, because it's oh so easy to learn such lessons easily, right? You have absolutely no clue if you haven't been in a boxing ring.

Having a particular asset can be the difference between world level/elite level/european level/domestic level and so on. Some fighters have chins, some don't. Some fighters have power, some don't. Some fighters have boxing iq, some don't. Some fighters have hand speed, some don't.

You can't expect every boxer to 'learn his lessons' and come out victorious every time. Every fighter is gifted and flawed in their own way. I could point out a million fighters than should 'learn their lesson' but it's easy looking from the outside in.

Khan is who he is. Can he improve? Of course, but he won't improve to the point where his mistakes will be gone. No boxer is indestructible. I'm proud of the man. He has shut the mouth of so many people by becoming a unified champion and facing everyone in his way, which people said he would never do!

As a fan, I do not ask more of the guy and people who say "I told you so" are just here to gloat and go on like absolute morons. I predicted a hard ass fight but I'm not going to brag about it or some ****. I knew Khan's flaws and I wasn't blinded by Garcia's 'slow average footwork/speed whatever else. If anyone studied the two, you should have known that this is not an easy fight.

Read my original post, I never said i expected Khan to be victorious every time.

What i said was, in the build up to the Peterson fight, he talked almost non stop about Mayweather, then he lost the fight and suddenly he was nowhere.

And then his next fight coming up (with Garcia) he done the EXACT SAME THING! Floyd Mayweather this, Floyd Mayweather that, and look what happens? he gets his ass knocked out by the one guy he didn't give any credit too - the guy he was actually fighting.

Khan is never gonna be a success until he learns to shut the **** up about Mayweather and guys that are out of his league and concentrate on the people HE IS ACTUALLY FIGHTING.

Is that such a hard concept to understand?

It's like this, if you draw bolton wanderers in the first round of the FA cup, you don't sit around talking about Man United because you might get them in the next round, you focus on the task that's ahead of you, otherwise you become complacent.

I guarantee, and i mean GUARANTEE, in the build up to Khan's next fight he'll have quotes like "the Mayweather fight is still possible!"

And when it happens (which it will) I'll be quoting this very post.

Dude, you do not know the mentality of the fighter coming into a fight. You're not in his shoes. Are you saying just because he mentioned Mayweather that this was the cause of his loss?

If so, that's ludicrous. You think while he's training he's thinking about him? While he's walking to the ring? Hell no, his focus was on Garcia. Give Garcia credit. He is no bum. He has power and he dealt with Khan, end of. Just because Khan mentioned Mayweather isn't the reason he lost this. That's bull.

    "Khan looking past Garcia"

How the hell can you say he doesn't look past people? it's CLEAR AS DAY.

What, so just because a headline says he's looking past him means he's 'CLEAR AS DAY' looking past him? I've watched his training, his videos. He was clearly focused on Garcia.

That's a bull**** statement to make.

You give up? No, you're just being ignorant and don't know what to say. Reading some other posts that I saw from you, I don't know why I even posted in here.

Khan said on his twitter “If Bradley wants it I’m ready…Bradley, how about you take the fight with me in December.”

There you go, in Amir's world it was a foregone conclusion he'd beat Garcia.

Doesn't look past people does he not?

    bang on the ****in' money.

Khan did not lose this fight because he was looking past Garcia. He lost because he is a flawed fighter and got caught by a nice shot. Do people think that Khan lost because he underestimated Garcia? Didn't focus on him? Didn't train hard? No one knows what's inside the head of a fighter. A few quotes do not mean anything. It's bull****.

Khan had high aspirations. Aspirations of being p4p number 1, fighting Mayweather etc. Most people who aim high fall short, as Khan will do. He will never be p4p number 1, he will never fight Mayweather, but let's knock the guy for having dreams and aiming high:roll:. "Oh he's delusional". Like most boxers then.

So much classless gloating also going on in the forum. The ******s are out in full force.

Can you's ****ing read that or not? it could not be any more obvious.

The guy is so arrogant he thought it was FOREGONE CONCLUSION he'd win.

Khan didnt write the headline. He's constantly asked about Mayweather. Like every other boxer, he'd like to fight the best.

99% of boxers say they will win. Some even predict which round they will knock their opponent out. 99% of boxers are deluded. You win some and you lose some, and it mainly comes down to skill. Khan could've said "I'm only focused on Garcia" and still lost the fight.
