I have not seen many of Ray Robinson's career but i have seen the likes of Ali, sugar ray leonard and Joe Louis. In my opinion Mayweather must be considered as number 1 greatest of all time and if not when? What more can he do?

In boxing today there is no way he can rack up 175 wins like Robinson. He has beat everyone to the point where Light-heavyweights (Hopkins) are calling him out and the public are considering it!

This means the once super featherweight (Mayweather) would be up against a man (Hopkins) who has beaten a former heavyweight (Jones JR). A Super Featherweight linked to a Heavyweight through only 1 man.

In my opinion no one beats Mayweather.

    Bradley
    Khan
    Garcia
    Brook
    Alexander

But if We keep moving up who knows?

    golovkin
    Hopkins
    klitschko!!

Combine the record of Mayweather last five opponents 187-10-2 (139)... Thats better Than Ray Robinson.

Let's just compare him to SRL and Ali, seeing as you mentioned them.

Best wins (Ali): Liston, Fraizer, Foreman
Best wins (SRL): Hagler, Duran, Hearns
Best wins (Floyd): Castillo, Corrales, DLH

When these lists look comparable, Floyd can enter a discussion with the people above. GOAT discussion isnt even in range, in reality.

After he retires, like all fighters who have been considered it. Nobody is ever called the G.O.A.T while they are actively playing/competing.

If he never loses then there definitely will be, it wont be while he is fighting though. Rocky Marciano is considered the greatest by some bc he never lost so why would it be hard to think some boxing critic 30 years from now would say Mayweather is the GOAT if he never loses?
